 The
Marriage Preparation program is designed to give couples planning
to be married, an opportunity to reflect on the important
dimensions concerning marriage and plan for a lifetime together.
The Marriage Preparation program is facilitated by Catholic
Charities Clinical Counseling Staff and consists of presentations,
couple exercises, group interaction and guest speakers. The
series runs for four consecutive weeks for a total of 12 hours.

- Communication
- Sexuality
- Parenting
- Finances
- Commitment
- Spirituality
- Natural Family Planning
- Intimacy

The Marriage Preparation program is held at all our locations.
Dates and Time
The program is held at various times throughout the year.
Check the calendar, see attached borchure or call your local
Catholic Charities office for information. Registration
is important because sessions do fill up months ahead. There
is a maximum of 12 couples per series.
Reduced Fee for Marriage License
Couples who complete Catholic Charities Marriage Preparation
program receive a discount on their marriage license application.
A certificate is provided to couples at the end of the program
that can be taken to the license bureau.
