Guardianship/ Conservatorship

When persons find themselves unable to make responsible decisions about their finances, living situations or care, Catholic Charities offers Guardianship/Conservatorship services.

As the court-appointed gaurdian/conservator, Catholic Charities manages the personal and/or financial affairs of vulnerable persons. As such, Catholic Charities acts on behalf of the court to protect persons who can no longer protect themselves.

When Catholic Charities is granted conservatorship of estate or guardianship of person, we act in the best interest of the person served in the areas of finances, healthcare, or living arrangments.

Services are open to all individuals regardless of age, faith, race, gender, disability or income.

Currently we serve over 60 individuals in southeastern Minnesota.  Our caring and understanding staff are here to help with any needs. Fore more information contact Mary Chase Borgen at our Winona office.
