What are the credentials of Catholic Charities counselors?
Catholic Charities counseling staff consist of Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Social Workers, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists.
 
Does Catholic Charities serve non-Catholics?
Absolutely. Catholic Charities' couseling services are available to people of all faiths.
 
Will my insurance cover the cost of counseling?
Catholic Charities' counseling services are generally covered by most insurances. In addition, many Employee Assistance Programs make Catholic Charities' counseling services available to their employees.
 
What if I don't have insurance coverage for counseling?
For those people who don't have insurance, or whose insurance won't cover counseling, a sliding scale fee is available.
 
What is a sliding scale fee?
A sliding scale fee is set based on the individual's or family's household income and number of family members living in the household.
 
How many counseling sessions should I expect to have?
Together, you and your couselor will decided the estimated number of counseling sessions. One session to numerous sessions are possible.
 
Can I get an evening appointment?
Evening counseling appointments are available at each Catholic Charities location.
