Value of Openness (National Adoption Month Article 4)

What is Open Adoption? If you asked 10 people you would probably get 10 different answers. One person may think that a birthparent who chooses the adoptive family for her child has an open adoption. Another person may believe that an adoptive parent sending letters and pictures through Catholic Charities to the birthparents is an open adoption.
